The 15th of August ended up being another landmark day for Freerunning with the Barclaycard World Freerun Championships at Trafalgar Square, being an outstanding success. The lineup on the day consisted of 25 athletes and saw some great action in the qualifying rounds before 10 made it to the final round. The eventual top 3 ended up seeing Tim ‘Livewire’ Shieff (UK) crowned as the 2009 champion. Victor ‘Showtime’ Lopez (USA) and Jason Paul (Germany) placed 2nd and 3rd respectively.
